Data we collect
When you use the free lookup
- The tracking or AWB number you enter, and the result returned by the carrier source.
- Basic technical data in our server logs: a hashed form of your IP address, approximate country, browser and device summary, pages visited and the time.
When you create an account or buy Pro
- Email address and a hashed password.
- Shipments you choose to save, their status history, and uploaded AWB documents.
- Notification settings (email addresses, optional Slack webhook).
- Billing references from Revolut (we do not receive or store your full card number) and the receipts we email you.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Session cookie (
awb_sid) — an identifier used to link your visits in our own activity log and to keep you signed in when you have an account. - Your cookie choice — stored in your browser’s local storage (
awb_cookie_consent) so we remember whether you accepted or rejected. - Google Analytics — measures how the site is used. It is off until you accept.

Advertising and Google
Visitors on the free plan may see ads served by Google AdSense. Pro and complimentary accounts do not see ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Who receives your data
- Revolut — card payments and subscriptions.
- Resend — sending transactional email (verification, alerts, receipts).
- Amazon Web Services — hosting; and Cloudflare — network delivery and security.
- Google — Analytics and AdSense, as described above.
- Carriers and tracking sources — the tracking number you look up is sent to the relevant carrier’s public tracking source to retrieve its status.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA. Where they do, they rely on safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
Account data and saved shipments are kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised on request. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Activity logs are kept only as long as needed for security and service improvement; we do not keep them as a profile for advertising.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise a right, email ; we may ask you to verify your identity. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
Children
AWBTracking.net is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.
