Tracking troubleshooting
Practical checks when AWBTracking.net shows empty results, stale status, or a completion state that does not match the carrier’s public track-and-trace page.
No results or “not found”
- Confirm the full number: airline AWB needs prefix + serial; couriers need the complete ID.
- Check that the carrier is listed on Supported carriers — unsupported prefixes cannot invent status.
- Try the Master AWB if you only have a House AWB.
- Very new bookings may not be published to the carrier portal yet — retry later.
Status not updating
- Carriers often pause updates overnight, between flight legs, or during customs.
- Projected arrival text is not a new physical scan.
- Pro users: confirm the shipment is still active and the poll interval is what you expect.
- Use Check now after a known flight arrival time before assuming a failure.
Wrong carrier detected
- Some numeric ranges overlap between couriers — open the result and verify the carrier name.
- USPS letter formats can resemble DHL Parcel DE (for example endings in DE).
- If detection is wrong, contact support with the tracking number and correct carrier.
Shows delivered too early
- Read the exact event text. DHL ‘delivery organization’ handoff is not delivered.
- Out for delivery and delivery attempts are still in progress.
- Airline ‘arrived’ at a hub is not destination delivery unless that hub is the destination.
- Click Check now after a fix deploy if an older false completion badge remains.
PDF upload did not find an AWB
- Upload a clear AWB PDF (not a low-resolution photo if possible).
- Confirm the document contains a supported airline prefix.
- You can always type the AWB manually into lookup or Add shipment.
